Hello, everyone! Most of you probably don't know me (though maybe some of you do)...but honestly, that's okay. :P

There probably already are multiple other blogs about this topic, but I'm just going to write this one anyway.

RIGHTS COME WITH RESPONSIBILITIES

By KCCreations

In just the few months I've been on Wikia, I've seen countless users ask to become Community Central Admins, VSTF, Helpers, etc...and I've seen all those countless users have their requests turned down. Now, some of you may be thinking, "Why turn the requests down? The users clearly just want to help Wikia flourish!"

Well, maybe they do. But there are users out there who—if given rights too early, or even at all—could bring about destruction and chaos in multiple ways. Maybe it's because they don't know how to be civil towards their fellow Wikians. Maybe it's because they're greedy and only wanted the rights for the ADMIN/VSTF/[insert right name here] sticker. Or maybe it's because they simply don't understand all the responsibility that comes with global or Community Central user rights.

In this post, I will go over a few reasons why Staff are so selective. I hope this helps. ^_^

Community Central[]

Community Central is almost like the hub of all Wikia. Users come here to chat, ask questions, get help from Staff, and so much more. Like the Hubs, Community Central is run by Staff, so bureaucrats are nonexistent here.
